HOSPITALITY LAUNCH EVENT - STYLING AND GALLERY

SITUATION:

MVMNT Agency was enlisted as the communications partner for The Mayflower (Darlinghurst) to successfully communicate the opening of the new cafe after COVID-19. MVMNT Agency discussed the importance of traditional media placement with credible food and beverage focused publications in addition to hosting a key opinion leader launch event to drive social media awareness. A complete launch strategy for media was created and executed in addition to two launch 12 PAX intimate launch events for key opinion leaders. The reason why we hosted two launch events was due to COVID-19, we wanted to ensure that our guests felt safe and comfortable so we decided to host the events over two sessions which also worked nicely with the Luxe Caviar tasting as it offered a more bespoke and intimate environment for guests to truly enjoy the education and experience of the event.

STRATEGY:

From an initial PR launch strategy to a tailored media and key opinion leader outreach plan, our objective was to generate awareness and buzz by ensuring we had The Mayflower's offering front-of-mind for all Sydney media and consumers. Editorial coverage was secured across Australia's most prominent food and lifestyle titles announcing the launch, the same week MVMNT hosted 2 x separate key opinion leader events to further generate hype across social media.

 Media outreach was executed pre event and all media were offered an opportunity to book in at a time that best suits them to experience The Mayflower at a time that best suits them.

RESULTS:
